There is a huge pile of stones outside my office building which is covering some contaminated soil. This dandelion is growing right in the middle of the stones which are about a foot deep! Now THAT is persistence!

Back at Fenway with Real and Denise! It was a great afternoon game and we won 10-1! Crazy! They had to call the game in the 7th inning because of the rain but we still kicked butt and had a lot of fun!

Real and Denise are visiting today for the Red Sox game. We sat at Fenway for a while watching it pour rain on the field before they postponed the game. That's ok with us... it just means we get to come back tomorrow!

Since Kristen and Dane needed some new furniture we thought this was a perfect excuse to take a trip to Ikea! I had never been before and we ended up spending 5 HOURS browsing the store! We all got some really great stuff and I can't wait to go back. It has become a tradition for Kristen to take a picture in the bathtub when she goes... this time was no exception. :-)

Today we helped Kristen and Dane move into their new place. We totally owed them because they helped us move TWICE before. We are NOT even now though because I hardly broke a sweat moving their stuff and Jason and I made them move SO MUCH more stuff than they have! Jason and Dane had to try a couple different ways to get the couch up the stairs but they eventually got it up there.

I was outside all day for work today and saw this squirrel and had to take a photo. I like squirrels... I'm not sure why though. He made me happy because it felt a lot like SPRING today with the sun shining and him playing on the steps!

On the way back from Vermont today Jason wanted to listen to the Sox game but we couldn't get it on the radio. Instead, I got it playing on my phone and put the phone on his shoulder so he could listen while he drove. It worked out pretty well!

We had a lot of fun at the Sox game tonight! It was so much fun laughing and screaming along with Erin and India (and occasionally Jason, though he doesn't scream much) and of course the other 38,000 people at Fenway!

We spent today touring the Smithsonian museums and got to visit the National Gallery of Art. We saw a few Van Gogh's there which I was really excited about!

Jason and I spent the day at the Zoo today! It was another beautiful day... Less windy than yesterday and I actually wore a short-sleeves shirt all day! This guy (Jason's favorite animal at the Zoo, an Orangutan) was not interested in the humans looking at him at all and instead was really liking this stick he had.

We are visiting Washington DC for the weekend... Check out all those cherry blossoms! There are over 2,000 cherry trees in DC, most of them along the Tidal Basin. I swear Jason and I saw them all today. We walked and walked and walked and then we rested and walked some more. It was absolutely beautiful all day! Very windy at times but in the high sixties! We actually both got a little sunburn on our faces! Hey, I'll take it, it's finally SPRING!

Jason and I have this fun/scary thing going where we try to hide Pokey in different places for the other person to find. Today, Jason put him in the mailbox downstairs and totally outdid me! I'll get him back though... :-)

This is the newest Ugly Doll I made hanging out with my original ugly doll, Pokey. It turned out pretty ugly... I gave him to Amanda to give to a 7 year old boy she cares for... He named it "Short Round."

It's a Sasquatch! All winter Jason and I have missed the Sasquatch because he was 'sleeping' when we went by him. Now though, since it stays lighter later we get to see him on our way home from work most days!

Jason took the photo of Bruno with the mouse. He thought it was funny that Bruno caught a 'mouse.' He loves his kitty... especially when he lays on his lap and purrs like in the photo above. They are so cute.

We took Real and Brit geocaching today... we found 4 caches (the most we have ever found in one day!) The weather was great, we got a lot of exercise in the woods, and had so much fun!

I could hear Bruno snoring somewhere in the bedroom. When I finally found him he was curled up in the bottom of the hamper. I wish I could be that comfortable when I sleep. :-)
