I am absolutely in love with Froot Loops lately... I'm really not sure why, but I can't get enough of them. I don't love the yellow ones, but that's ok because the goodness of the red ones makes up for the shortcomings of the yellow ones.

I just can't help but love my husband. I have been having a particularly stressful week. I got home around 7:45pm last night and he had made dinner for us, poured me a glass of wine, got me the most wonderful card (it made me cry) and bought me my favorite ice-cream for dessert. I am so incredibly lucky.

Phil brought Spencer over to visit with us while we were watching football. The last time we saw him was a year and a half ago... he got SO big! He loved playing with Denise's kitty and all the cat toys!

How cool is this photo!?!?! Seriously. At Jess and Eric's on Saturday we (there was a serious of random events that lead up to this including him having to fish the ring out from under the stove) took this picture when Eric spun his wedding ring on the kitchen table and shined a flashlight on top of it. Now that you know what it is, isn't it just that much more crazy? :-)

Tonight we went out to dinner at Bella Luna in Jamaica Plain. The food was so good and I ate way too much! Always a sign of a good restaurant! Our waitress took this photo... she was great and I love that the photo is slightly tipped and off-center... it looks like we were having fun, which we definitely did!

My kit was due to arrive today. I couldn't wait to get home and rip it open! I knew that one of the kits was being delivered, but I didn't know that I would get BOTH of the kits I ordered on the same day! You know what that means? Kristen gets her kit too! I was so excited to email her this photo with "EEP!" in the subject line!

Long story short, my car hates me. I'm sure of this. A few days ago my tire was soft. Not entirely flat, just soft. Today we were going to go the whopping 0.6 miles to get some air to pump it back up. Brushed off the car, got in the driver's seat, and turned the key. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not even a measley little light in the dashboard. Dead battery. Awesome. Great. LUCKILY I have the most best husband in the world and he took care of it for me! He called AAA that night and made sure my little Leo (that's what my sister named my car) was all set to go to the shop in the morning.

Before our traditional trip to BJ's to get dog bones and UNO's to get Erin some soup (two things she has to do EVERY time she visits!) there was some snow/ice on the car. Erin was nice enough to brush it off for me and I snapped this picture from the inside of the car while she was cleaning off the windshield. She makes it look like fun!

THIS was hilarious! Erin saw that there was a spider on the wall... a big one! I assure you I have never seen a spider in my apartment until that moment. Not being too fond of spiders, I told Erin that we would leave a note to Jason to take care of it when he gets back from the gym. Of course, she wasn't having that because "it will be gone by then and I won't be able to sleep because I will think it is in my bed or laying eggs in my ear or something!" Typical Erin, right? Hee hee. I got the vacuum for her and she sucked it up, while screaming and laughing the entire time. Good times when my sister comes to visit. :-)

Woke up today with the most awful headache! I chose to stay home and take care of myself today. This chair (Amanda's, but we are babysitting it) is the most comfortable to curl up in. Perfect for a sick day home watching the Disney Channel and drinking ginger ale.

Amanda and I volunteered to do inventory at a local scrapbooking store here in Mass. We had a lot of fun AND got a lot done! There were about 50 women there helping out to count EVERYTHING in the store and you can imagine how much fun we all had... 50 scrapbookers surrounded by scrapbooking goodies? Yeah, it was great. This isle is just one section that Amanda and I counted as a team!

A lazy Saturday at home... Jason threw his back out today so we spent some time in the loft... me making Ugly Dolls and him using his computer on the futon. The kitties, of course joined us. It was nice to spend some time up there together since we are usually always downstairs.

The Christmas decorations have come down and so has the tree. It's so sad to take down, but when you have had it up since Thanksgiving like me (yes, I'm one of THOSE people!) it's easier to let go and welcome in the new year. So, the box of ornaments and the tree goes back in the closet for next year.

Awww, New Years Day... This photo was taken right after the ball dropped in NYC. One of these days I'm going to go there for New Years, but until then I will hang out inside where it is WARM and cozy! This year it was 1 degree with the wind chill in Times Square and over one million people there to celebrate... crazy!
