Love this book. I stole it from a bookshelf at Real & Denise's house. When I opened it up "Vermonters" and "PEZ Candy" appeared on the page I randomly opened to so I thought it was meant to be and that I needed to 'borrow' it.
We had a BLAST tonight at Kristen and Emily's! Kristen made lasagna (omgosh, SO good!) and we played Apples to Apples which I'm pretty sure is one of the most fun games ever! Adrian and Corinne joined us and even though it was their first time playing Adrian won!
Ah, Friday! Getting Thai on Friday is becoming a tradition for my co-worker Sean and I. I always get Pineapple Fried Rice. It is SO yummy and I love how they put the cucumber in the shape of a heart! How cute is that?
I've been working on a deadline all week so I have been working late every night. Tonight I stayed until 10! Tea with lots of sugar and my trusty iPod kept me productive the whole time!
I often don't know why my cats do the things they do... especially Baylee. I don't know where she found this yarn, but we came home from work and it was all over the apartment. Jason says she likes to 'tie the furniture together.' :-)
I bought 4 new bowls today... they were only $2 each. It's amazing to me how spending $8 on bowls can make me so happy! Love them!
How cute are these little birdies!?!?! I have been meaning to do something like this for a while. I bought some vinyl a while ago and just today cut some things out for my apartment walls, and in this case, cabinets. I love how it turned out!
I know, these are some weird photos. The frame hanging is to document the fact that we finally hung a picture in our apartment! Yay! My toes have faces because I saw someone do this on TV and I just had to do it for myself. I'm not sure why the second toe is sad.
Happy 24th Birthday Jason! We went out to eat at a new place in Wilmington called Rocco's. Had a good day just spending time together... it was great.
Worked until 7:00 (it's Friday!) on a deadline for work. I welcomed the weekend with open arms when I finally left!
This past weekend Jason and Real went to get a box spring and frame for the bed in the guest room. It's amazing how much difference it makes to put a bed in a room! It looks like a real guest room now!
I got to my desk this morning and these two post-its greeted me. :-) Totally made my day.
Every time Real comes to visit he waters my plants. I'm not good at remembering that they need water to live. They look pretty good after he leaves, but I bet they won't stay that way for long.
My new desktop background. I downloaded the template and just inserted the photos and Voila! It makes me smile.
Superbowl Sunday! Amanda brought a bunch of snacks and I made some Taco Dip and a few other things (meatballs, yay!) We were all pretty stuffed by the end of the game.
Oh Amanda... After dinner Denise had the idea that she wanted to race up the snowbank at our apartment. Of course, she didn't mean it, but Amanda took her quite literally and headed up the bank and fell at the top. She stayed there for a while before sliding down, laughing the whole time.
This weekend, Denise and I went to a book sale where all the books were $1 and they were all unsorted. It was awesome! This is just a sample of all the books we got, and we only got about a quarter of the way through the building!
Jason's parents are visiting this weekend. Every year since Jason moved to Boston they have come down to watch the Super Bowl with us. This is Real and Bruno doing "elevator butt."
